About the role
Adele Carr Recruitment - Assistant Accountant
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our finance team, supporting financial reporting, reconciliations and year-end activities.
Hybrid schedule after a period of training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Year-end accounting and audit support
- Fixed asset management and reconciliations
- Bad debt reporting and provision preparation
- Pension tracking and reconciliations
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Agg Levy reviews
- Setting up and monitoring capital projects
- Office for National Statistics (ONS) reporting and reviews
- Supporting accurate financial reporting and process improvements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
- SAP Experience would be an advantage
- Strong Excel, analytical and organisational skills
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
