You must be paid at least the National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage for your age. Many peak roles pay more for nights, weekends or overtime, and the advert should say so. On YourNextJob.co.uk the pay is shown on every job wherever the employer gives it.
Should I apply through an agency or direct?
Either works. Many large operators hire peak staff through recruitment agencies as well as directly. A genuine UK agency will never charge you a fee to find you work, and your employer should give you safety boots and hi-vis free of charge if the job needs them.
