About the role
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Pay: Up to £23.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary, initially 4 weeks Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Start: ASAP Parking: Free on-site parking
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Handyperson / Maintenance Operative to provide temporary cover at an accommodation site in Birmingham City Centre.The role will involve carrying out a variety of general repairs and maintenance throughout the accommodation, so we're looking for someone practical, reliable and comfortable undertaking a broad range of minor works.
Duties will include:
- General maintenance and repairs
- Painting and touch-up works
- Minor repairs to fixtures and fittings
- Minor fixing works, including sockets where appropriate
- General handyperson duties
- Identifying and resolving general maintenance issues
- Ensuring work is completed to a good standard
Requirements:
- Previous handyperson, maintenance or similar experience
- Good general maintenance skills across a variety of tasks
- Reliable and able to work independently
- No formal trade qualifications required
- Available to start ASAP
This is an initial 4-week temporary assignment, paying up to £23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
