Personal Assistant Ref: DP7851 Location: Shoreham-by-Sea Details This role is to support a Woman Drivers licence required: Preferred Hours per week: From Dec - 1 hour on Mon, Tues, Fri and 3 hours on Wed from 12 - 1pm Hourly pay rate: £15 - I am a disabled woman and a pensioner. I have a lively and open minded outlook, not matched by my physical abilities and I’m interested in politics and disability activism in particular. From December, I will need a PA for 1 hour a day on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, but 3 hours on Wednesday to help me either swim or have a shower at home. This would need to be from 12 - 1 p.m., but I can be flexible about time on the other days. - Duties include: - Other relevant duties as required - Housekeeping - Shopping - Companionship - Looking after pets - Occasionally looking after the cat Candidate qualities: - Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality - Reliable with good timekeeping - Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative - Hygienic, tidy and well organised - Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties - Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills - Honest and cheerful - Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard - Able to always work to high standards of health & safety - A sense of humour! - Comfortable with cats - Whilst a driving license isn’t essential, it would be an advantage Additional requirements Non-smoker due to medical reasons Notes: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required. If the role is offered on a self-employed basis, you will be responsible for the cost of your own DBS check.
