Job Description

Vetro are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school team in Cheshire East. This is an opportunity to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, your daily duties will include:

Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning and communication needs
Delivering targeted interventions to support learning progress and engagement
Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress, working closely with teachers and the wider support team

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or similar)
Previous experience supporting children, ideally within SEND provision
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one) and a strong commitment to safeguarding
