Job Description
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a primary school in Rotherham (S65).
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA who enjoys delivering teaching, leading intervention groups and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and learning activities across primary year groups.
• Lead targeted intervention groups to support pupil progress in English and Maths.
• Provide additional support to pupils with varying learning needs.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Work closely with class teachers to monitor progress and ensure learning objectives are met.

Requirements

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience delivering learning at a higher level.
• Previous experience working in a primary school.
• Confidence leading lessons and managing a classroom.
• Experience delivering interventions and supporting pupil progress.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
