Job Title: Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: Monmouthshire, South Wales
Salary: £120 per day minimum
Employment Type: Full time - Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant in Monmouthshire, you will play a key role in helping pupils thrive in a supportive school setting. Key Responsibilities

As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant based in Monmouthshire your daily duties will include:

Supporting pupils to manage behaviour positively, promoting engagement, routines, and emotional regulation
Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and behavioural needs, adapting support to individual plans
Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to implement behaviour strategies, record progress, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will need:

Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain)
Relevant experience supporting children/young people in an education setting (e.g., classroom support, behaviour support, ALN support)
EWC registration (Education Workforce Council) and completion of safeguarding training / compliance checks
