Pay Rate: £150.00 - £200.00 per day (DOE)

About the Role

Bring history to life for young minds! Randstad Education is looking for a knowledgeable History Teacher to join dynamic humanities departments across secondary schools in Southend-on-Sea.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver well-structured History lessons across KS3 and KS4 GCSE specifications.

• Encourage critical evaluation of historical sources, debates, and chronological events.

• Provide clear feedback and marking in line with school policy to drive pupil progress.

• Support wider Humanities events and field trips where required.

Requirements:

• QTS / QTLS qualification specialising in History or Humanities.

• Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management capabilities.

• Essential: Safeguarding, Prevent, and Allergy Training completed within the last 12 months (or a commitment to complete these prior to placement to meet full GCA clearance standards, which Randstad is compliant with).

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

• Right to work in the UK.
