Year 1 Teacher – Doncaster (DN4)

Position: Year 1 Teacher
Contract: Full-time
Duration: Until October half term, with the possibility of a longer-term extension

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the DN4 area of Doncaster.

This is a full-time position initially running until the October half term, with the possibility of continuing beyond this date for the right candidate.

The RoleThe successful teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons to a Year 1 class, supporting pupils as they continue their transition into Key Stage 1.

You will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support the academic, social and emotional development of pupils.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will:

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Have experience teaching within EYFS/Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1.
• Be enthusiastic, creative and passionate about primary education.
• Have strong classroom management skills.
• Be committed to providing an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a supportive school team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a full-time role in a friendly Doncaster primary school, with the potential for the position to continue beyond October half term.
