About the role
Conveyancing Completions Assistant
Location: Wallingford | Salary: £25,000 – £28,000
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Completions Assistant to join its busy Residential Property team in Wallingford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential conveyancing experience who enjoys the administrative and financial aspects of the conveyancing process.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing files for completion and ensuring all requirements are met.
- Preparing completion statements and dealing with financial transactions.
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and lenders.
- Submitting SDLT returns.
- Handling Land Registry applications and registrations.
- Managing post-completion matters and outstanding documentation.
- Ensuring files are progressed accurately and efficiently.
About You
- Previous experience within a residential conveyancing team.
- Understanding of the completions and post-completion process.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Able to manage a busy workload and work effectively as part of a team.
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000, depending on experience.
