About the role
We’re working with a highly successful, well-known national financial planning organisation that has continued to grow year on year. With a strong reputation and an established client base, the business is continuing to invest in its people and expand its support for a successful team of Financial Planners.
They’re now looking to appoint a Paraplanner to provide technical support to the team. The role is fully remote, with no requirement to attend an office, offering the flexibility to work from home while staying closely connected with colleagues.
This opportunity could suit an experienced Paraplanner looking for greater flexibility, as well as an experienced IFA Administrator or Junior Paraplanner who has gained some exposure to report writing, research or paraplanning and is ready to take the next step in their career.
The role
Working alongside Financial Planners, you’ll help ensure clients receive clear, accurate and well-researched recommendations. Your duties will include:
- Preparing suitability reports and other client documents
- Researching financial products and solutions to support recommendations
- Gathering and reviewing information to help planners develop appropriate advice
- Liaising with Financial Planners and colleagues to keep cases progressing smoothly
- Supporting the advice process from initial research through to completion
- Helping maintain accurate records and a high standard of client service
About you
- A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a paraplanning role, including report writing and research.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to manage work accurately and efficiently.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with Financial Planners.
Candidates who are one exam away from completing the Diploma will also be considered. The client is also open to hearing from experienced IFA Administrators and Junior Paraplanners who have some report writing, research or paraplanning experience and are keen to develop their technical skills and progress their career.
What’s in it for you?
- Fully remote working, with no office attendance required.
- The opportunity to support an established team of successful Financial Planners.
- A varied role where you can contribute to the advice process and client outcomes.
- Scope to develop your paraplanning skills and progress your career within a growing organisation.
- The flexibility to work remotely as part of a well-established national business.
