The Role

As a Commercial Claims Handler, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance claims, providing a high level of service to clients and ensuring claims are handled efficiently from initial notification through to settlement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling a varied caseload of commercial insurance claims, including Property, Liability and Motor.
• Managing claims from first notification through to successful settlement.
• Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters and other third parties to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Providing expert advice and regular updates to clients throughout the claims process.
• Negotiating settlements and resolving any issues or disputes that arise.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers and internal colleagues.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience handling commercial insurance claims, ideally within an insurance broking environment.
• A good understanding of commercial insurance products and claims procedures.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload.
• A proactive, client-focused approach and a genuine passion for delivering excellent service.
