Order Picker – Night Shift

Connect Appointments are seeking additional Order Pickers to join our Bathgate based client’s night shift warehouse team. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity leading to full-time permanent employment with our client.

What’s on offer:

• Working 5 days over 7, on a 3-week rota
• Night shift hours 9/10pm till finish around 6am
• Paid weekly at £15.20 to £19.00 per hour
• £19.00 between the hours of 10pm and 4am
• £15.20 between the hours of 4am and 10pm

As an Order Picker, your duties will include: Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate the correct items for shipment, ensuring inventory is managed accurately. Combined with:

• Safely picking items from shelves
• Packaging completed orders
• Completing necessary invoicing or paperwork
• Unloading deliveries from delivery lorries
• Assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse
• Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary

To be successful in this warehouse position, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment; The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions; The ability to using picking machines in warehouses and manually pick items; The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
