About the role
Are you organised and do you enjoy administrative tasks? Do you want to be part of a team, providing administration support to staff and volunteers, to enable them to deliver the best possible service to people from all backgrounds and communities affected by dementia? If so, this could be the role for you.
In this role you will provide key day to day administrative support such as sending and receiving emails, using the telephone and ordering stationery and supplies. You will also use your skills to research information, update databases and use spreadsheets to manipulate data. In addition you may support the organisation of our events and services by finding and booking venues and attending meetings taking notes.
We are ideally aiming to have a volunteer ready to support our team from January 2027 but can start in role sooner if a suitable person is found.
For this role, we are looking for a volunteer who can give ideally at least 7 hours a week to support our Print Team at our Birmingham office base. They will help with straightforward tasks such as preparing print jobs, printing, photocopying, scanning, organising materials and keeping the Print Room tidy and well stocked. Full guidance and support will be provided, so volunteers do not need previous print-room experience (although administration or printing experience is desirable), just good attention to detail, reliability and a willingness to learn.
