They are now looking for their senior electrical authority - the Qualified Supervisor. This is not just a hands-on role. You are the technical conscience of the business. You will own compliance, certification, and competence across all electrical works, while coaching a team of mobile engineers. If you want a QS role where you actually have the time and authority to do the job properly, this is it. What You'll Own: Technical governance for all electrical works to BS 7671 & Building RegsActing as formal QS for the company's certification bodyCompetence assessments, supervision plans & risk-based site auditsReviewing and signing off EICRs, test results & electrical certificationTechnical escalation point for complex faults, safety & complianceMentoring electricians, improvers & apprenticesSupporting mobilisation of new contracts and annual scheme assessments About You: Essential: Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship18th Edition (BS 7671) + Inspection & Testing (2391 / 2394/95 or equiv)Proven experience in commercial installation, maintenance, fault-finding & certificationSupervisory experience + eligible to be accepted as QS by NICEIC / NAPIT / EquivalentFull UK Driving LicenceIT literate - electronic certs / CAFM systems Desirable: HNC/HND, ECS QS Card, experience of certification body assessments You are thorough, evidence-led, and confident challenging non-compliance. A natural leader and coach who can talk tech to both engineers and clients.
