Assistant Management Accountant

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role across the day-to-day finance function, gaining hands-on experience and developing your management accounting skills along the way. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with the team to ensure ledgers are accurate and up to date
• Reviewing recurring billing and project costs, making sure everything is accounted for and completed
• Supporting the month-end process, including assisting with tasks and reporting
• Preparing and posting journals
• Managing accruals and ensuring they are correctly recorded
• Producing cashflow forecasts to help inform business decisions
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Analysing financial information for monthly reporting

What you will need:

• Experience in a similar finance role, such as Assistant Accountant, Assistant management accountant or Accounts Analyst
• Month-end experience, with a track record of supporting or leading the process
• A progressive mindset, keen to learn and develop
• Currently studying or previously studied towards a finance qualification (QBE considered)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
