Equipment Assembler/Fitter

Basildon Salary – Negotiable DOE Monday – Friday days Your new role: Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well–known manufacturing company which specialises in the design, manufacturing, build and installation of automated machinery working in several industries. With a large order book and continuous projects for the next 3–6 years, this is an excellent time to join an ever–expanding business. The business now has an excellent opportunity for an experienced equipment assembler/fitter to join their shop floor manufacturing team. The equipment assembly/fitter role is varied and requires machining, fitting, assembly and fault–finding skills. Keen attention to detail and careful handling of the specialist materials is essential. The ability to maintain focus and care when actioning the tasks of higher repetition will be essential. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Preparation of base materials, machining and lock assembly.Assembling frameworks and fitting to machinery lines.Dis–assembly of tested lines and preparation of items ready for transport and assembly at customer sites – On occasion Small amount of pneumatic assemblyAssembly, commissioning, support and service work at customers' sites This is just a summed–up list, and other duties will be required.
