About the role
Your new company
A well-established social housing contractor operating across Sheffield and the surrounding areas is seeking an experienced Plumber to join their growing maintenance team. The organisation delivers high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment services to tenanted and void properties, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and community improvement.
Your new role
As a Plumber, you will be carrying out reactive and planned maintenance work on social housing properties throughout Sheffield. Duties will include:
- Bathroom repairs and installations
- Fault-finding and plumbing maintenance
- Repairs to pipework, taps, toilets, showers, and sanitaryware
- Working in occupied and void properties
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants
What you'll need to succeed
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working as a plumber within domestic properties
- Experience within social housing, repairs, or maintenance environments
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
