Director of Engineering | £140,000 | Remote UK | Permanent Description Service Care Solutions is partnering with a leading UK digital mental health provider to appoint a Director of Engineering. You will own engineering strategy, delivery and culture across a growing platform used by patients, clinicians and the NHS. This is a fully remote, permanent role, and Service Care Solutions is managing the search end to end. Responsibilities Set and deliver the engineering vision, roadmap and technical strategy Lead, coach and develop engineering managers and their teams Improve delivery efficiency, reduce technical debt and embed best practice Own platform reliability, security and compliance, including NHS DSPT and GDPR Partner with product, clinical and data leaders on priorities and investment Manage engineering budgets, suppliers and resourcing Requirements Proven senior engineering leadership experience at Head of or Director level Track record of scaling teams that deliver cloud based software Strong grounding in agile delivery, CI/CD and modern cloud architecture Confident communicator at executive and stakeholder level Healthcare, digital health or regulated sector experience highly desirable Must reside in the UK Benefits Working from home allowance, health cash plan, employee assistance programme, enhanced sickness and family leave, annual volunteering day, length of service bonus and pension options.
