PROPA is delighted to be working with a fast-growing business that is changing how landlords buy and sell property. Their off-market platform lets landlords sell tenanted properties and portfolios discreetly, away from the big public property portals, and connects them directly with qualified investors.

Through exclusive partnerships with influential organisations, they bring motivated landlords and serious buyers together quickly, securely and confidentially. They’re now looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Sales Development Manager to join their growing team.

The role

You’ll call warm leads, people who have already shown interest in the platform, and turn them into paying subscribers. At present, every conversation is with someone who has registered, enquired or engaged with the business.

You’ll own each conversation from first call to close. That means understanding what each investor is looking for, running live demos of the platform for landlords and investors, and signing them up. It suits someone who enjoys the phone, likes hitting targets, and wants their earnings to reflect their results.

Key responsibilities

• Call warm, inbound leads promptly and convert them into paying subscribers
• Run discovery conversations to understand each investor’s goals, budget and strategy
• Deliver engaging online demos of the platform to landlords and investors
• Handle objections confidently and close sales over the phone
• Follow up on leads by phone and email to keep the pipeline moving
• Follow up with landlords and investors after their platform trials, turning them into paying members
• Keep accurate records of every call, outcome and follow-up in the CRM
• Hit and exceed weekly and monthly targets for calls, conversions and revenue
• Share feedback from investors to improve the product and lead quality

What you’ll need

• Demonstrable experience in a target-driven, phone-based sales role
• A proven record of closing sales yourself, not only booking appointments
• Confidence, warmth and persuasiveness on the phone
• Resilience, self-motivation and a positive attitude to targets
• Good organisation and attention to detail when using a CRM

It would be great if you also have

• An interest in, or experience of, property or property investment
• Experience selling subscriptions, memberships or SaaS products
• Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM

• Uncapped commission, with OTE of £40,000+ in year one
