Production Technician

A Production Technician with experience of working within a High–Tech Electronics/ Mechanical Manufacturing environment will join the production team of an award–winning Technology Company. The Production Technician (Electro–mechanical) role will focus on the electro–mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies, component level fault–finding and documentation. The Production Technician should bring the following skills & experience: An Engineering qualification or equivalent relevant industrial experience. Proficiency in electro–mechanical assembly techniques including soldering, wiring and cable/harness assembly. PCB repair skills. Good fault–finding and debugging skills. An understanding of clean room techniques. The ability to read schematics. An understanding of SolidWorks or similar mechanical design software and appreciation of electronic principles.
