Architectural Technician
Location: Preston
£40-45,000
A respected, award-winning multi-disciplinary construction and design consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its expanding Preston team. The practice is well regarded for delivering high-quality projects nationwide, with a portfolio spanning healthcare, education, commercial, residential, sports and leisure, and heritage.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Creating technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Preparing detailed construction information
- Taking designs forward through every project stage
- Producing planning and Building Regulations submissions
- Liaising with clients and project consultants
- Assisting with BIM coordination and project delivery
- Participating in meetings and site visits
- Solving technical and construction challenges
The ideal Architectural Technologist will have:
- A background as an Architectural Technician or Technologist
- Relevant experience within the UK construction industry
- A qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
- Excellent Revit and AutoCAD skills
- Experience working in a BIM environment
- Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- CIAT accreditation, or a willingness to work towards it
