This is an excellent opportunity to join an established lift engineering operation offering competitive earning potential, a structured local patch and an attractive benefits package. You'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and keeping lifts operating safely and reliably across commercial, residential and public-sector sites. This is a hands-on engineering role involving electrical and mechanical fault finding, component replacements and breakdown repairs. You'll manage your own workload across a local patch, with support from an experienced local supervisor whenever required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carrying out lift repairs and fault findingDiagnosing electrical and mechanical lift faultsReplacing, repairing and upgrading lift componentsAttending breakdowns and supporting call-outsWorking independently across a structured local patchEnsuring lifts are returned to service safely and efficientlyCompleting repair reports, site paperwork and maintenance documentationMaintaining high standards of safety and customer service WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalentPrevious experience working as a Lift Service or Repair EngineerStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skillsExperience diagnosing breakdowns and carrying out lift repairsFull UK Driving LicenceAbility to work independently and manage your workload WORKING HOURS Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:45pm Friday: 8:00am - 3:45pm Enjoy a structured working week with an early Friday finish.
