Hygiene Operative

Our client a gluten free bakery that supplies most of their produce to America and Australia is seeking a Hygiene Operative based in Crossmaglen.

Pay Rate: £16.43 Per Hour

Hours Per Week: 44.5 Hours with breaks paid

Working Hours: Monday- 07.00-19.00 Tuesday- 07.00-19.00 Friday- 06.30-17.00 Saturday- 07.00-17.00

Job Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent

Job Criteria:

· Previous experience in hygiene (Essential)

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals

· Ability to follow standard operating procedures

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties:

· Contribute to the maintenance of food safety standards by collaborating with colleagues and adhering to hygiene protocols and best practices

· Maintaining personal hygiene standards in accordance with company policy, wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided. This includes appropriate safety PPE during chemical handling

· Completing cleaning tasks according to schedules and procedures as set out by your manager, including daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning routines, to ensure thorough sanitisation and prevention of contamination

· Managing waste responsibly by correctly disposing of food waste and packaging materials, while keeping designated waste areas clean and tidy
