About the role
Press Brake Operator
Up to £15.59 per hour
Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for your next opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment? We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our production team, operating hydraulic press brakes to produce high-quality metal components to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating hydraulic press brake machinery
- Bending, shaping and forming sheet metal to engineering drawings and specifications
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience operating press brake machinery
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Hours of Work:
Weekly Rotating Shifts
Week 1 (Days)
- Monday to Thursday: 05:45 - 14:15
- Friday: 05:45 - 13:15
Week 2 (Afternoons)
- Monday to Thursday: 14:00 - 22:30
- Friday: 13:00 - 20:30
