About the role
IFA Administrator / Client Services Administrator / Senior Client Services Associate
City of London | Salary up to £42,000 + bonus
Are you currently working in IFA Administration or Client Services and looking for a new opportunity where you can develop your skills and build a long-term career?
Perhaps you're earlier in your career and keen to join a business that will invest in your development.
Or maybe you're an experienced Client Services professional ready to take on greater responsibility, support colleagues and develop towards a team leadership position?
THE COMPANY
With just over 100 employees, our client has built an excellent reputation within the financial planning industry. The business has a genuinely collaborative and social culture, with a strong focus on staff retention, employee development and creating an environment where people enjoy coming to work.
The Client Services team consists of around 11 people, working closely with Financial Advisers and Paraplanners to deliver an excellent service to clients.
We've successfully placed several people into the business ourselves, and it's been particularly pleasing to see how many have stayed, progressed and continued to build their careers there.
THE OPPORTUNITIES
There are opportunities for both IFA Administration / Client Services Administrators and a more experienced Senior Client Services Associate.
IFA Administrator / Client Services Administrator
This opportunity would suit someone with some previous experience in financial planning administration or client servicing who is looking to develop their knowledge within an established and supportive team.
There is plenty of scope to develop your skills, take on additional responsibilities and explore future career opportunities within the business. For those interested in progressing into Paraplanning, the firm offers support with professional exams and the opportunity to work towards a move into the Paraplanning team further down the line.
Senior Client Services Associate
For a more experienced professional, this role offers the opportunity to remain hands-on with client servicing while taking on greater responsibility across the wider team.
Alongside your own workload, you'll help coordinate team workflow, support and develop newer colleagues, identify opportunities to improve processes and act as a key point of contact within the Client Services team.
This would suit someone who enjoys supporting others, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is ready to develop towards a more senior or leadership-focused position.
WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience within IFA Administration, Client Services or financial planning.
- A good understanding of the financial planning client journey.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good written communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to resolving issues and supporting the wider team.
For the senior opportunity, experience supporting colleagues, coordinating workloads or taking ownership of team processes would also be beneficial.
WHAT'S ON OFFER?
- Salary up to £42,000, depending on experience and level of role.
- Discretionary bonus of up to 12%.
- Hybrid working, with two days from home available after probation.
- 32 days' annual leave, including bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell holiday.
- Private medical insurance.
- Income protection and Death in Service.
- Company pension scheme.
- Rail season ticket loan.
- Regular team and company-wide social events.
- Structured career development, with opportunities to progress into more senior or leadership-focused positions.
- Full support with professional exams and the potential to progress into the Paraplanning team.
LOCATION AND WORKING PATTERN
The roles are based in the City of London, with hybrid working available. You'll be able to work from home two days per week following successful completion of probation.
