Registered Service Manager

We are currently partnering with a leading housing provider, who are recruiting for Registered Service Manager Support to join their team on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract.

You will lead and develop our team whilst making sure young people receive high - quality, individualised support that promotes their independence safety, wellbeing and positive transition into adulthood.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Key Duties

·         Acting as the Registered Manager and primary point of contact with Ofsted, ensuring the service meets the Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards.  

·         Leading preparations for Ofsted inspections and monitoring visits, while ensuring policies, procedures and working practices remain compliant.

·         Providing strong and supportive leadership, creating a positive culture focused on safeguarding, inclusion, wellbeing and continuous improvement.  

·         Promoting a strong safeguarding culture and ensuring concerns, incidents and risks are identified and managed appropriately.  

·         Using audits, performance information, feedback and outcomes to maintain quality and identify opportunities to improve the service.

·         Ensuring young people receive personalised, trauma-informed and strengths-based support that helps them develop independence and achieve positive outcomes.

·         Ensuring accommodation is maintained to a high standard and provides a safe environment for young people.  

·         Building effective relationships with local authorities, commissioners, social workers, education providers, healthcare professionals and other partners.  

Experience required:

·         At least two years' experience working within the supported housing sector.

·         Experience of working collaboratively with others to deliver objectives.

·         Experience of developing teams to ensure colleagues have the skills needed to provide excellent services and achieve targets

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

·         Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with a wide range of people.  

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         The ability to analyse complex situations and make sound decisions.

·         Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and maintain accurate records.

·         Good IT skills, with the ability to use systems effectively to support business objectives.

Salary:

·         £50,104
