Practice Nurse – Bellegrove Surgery

​Medical Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to support Bellegrove Surgery for a minimum 3-month placement starting immediately. This role offers a flexible part-time schedule of two days per week, working 9:00am to 6:00pm split into two 4-hour sessions per day. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality primary care nursing services utilizing the EMIS Web clinical system.

• Conduct standard 10-minute patient appointments, as well as extended 20-minute consultations for cervical smears or complex cases.

• Manage and administer anti-coagulation clinics using Coagu-Chek machines and the INR Star dosing system.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to patient safety standards.

Requirements

• Active NMC registration with experience working as a Practice Nurse in Primary Care.

• Proficiency in using EMIS Web.

• Competency in anti-coagulation management (preferred training/experience using Coagu-Chek machines and the INR Star dosing system).

• Capability to manage varying appointment lengths (10 to 20 minutes depending on procedure complexity).
