General Practitioner (GP)

​Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced General Practitioner (GP) for locum opportunities across Walthamstow and Chingford in North East London. Offering a competitive hourly rate of £90 – £100, with Tuesday and Friday afternoon sessions available, this opportunity is ideal for GPs looking to supplement their existing clinical commitments.

We are seeking confident, experienced clinicians with UK primary care experience and proficiency in EMIS Web or SystmOne.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred GP consultations and clinical assessments.

• Diagnose and manage a range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Develop appropriate treatment plans, prescribe medication and arrange referrals where clinically indicated.

• Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web or SystmOne.

• Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care.

• Follow clinical governance, safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.

Requirements

• Full GMC registration with a valid licence to practise.

• Previous experience working as a GP within UK primary care.

• Proficiency in EMIS Web or SystmOne.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.

• Ability to manage patient consultations independently.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

• Availability for Tuesday and/or Friday afternoon sessions.
