About the role
This is an opportunity for someone with experience across billing, credit control and account reconciliations who enjoys taking ownership of the full receivables process. You’ll work closely with colleagues and customers to ensure accurate invoicing, resolve queries and improve cash collection, while helping to strengthen processes across the team.
The role

- Ensure invoices are accurate, reflect agreed contractual terms and reach customers through the appropriate channels.
- Work with internal teams to validate billing information and resolve discrepancies.
- Take ownership of billing queries, working with customers and colleagues to find timely resolutions.
- Monitor aged debt, proactively chase outstanding balances and agree repayment arrangements where appropriate.
- Reconcile customer accounts, investigate differences and maintain accurate ledger records.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting, providing debtor reconciliations and updates on overdue balances.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors and make the receivables function more efficient.
- Support audits and maintain appropriate financial controls.

- Excellent communication skills and a professional, practical approach to credit control.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
