Mechanical Sweeper (Medium)

Job DescriptionBased at various depots, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, working five days out of a 7 day week which includes weekends.

You may also be involved in operating a number of different vehicle types within the city including vans, cage vehicles and electric vehicles carrying out a full range of Street Cleansing tasks across the city.The IndividualYou will have good communication skills and experience of adhering to method statements/traffic management procedures.

Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team and cover reasonable distance on foot (up to 5 miles per day over different terrains), flexibility to be involved in all aspects of street cleaning operation and willing to undergo training is essential.
