£750-£900 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions Education are looking for a Year 2 Teacher to join a primary school in Tameside, starting ASAP. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, this is a great opportunity to take on an ongoing teaching position within a mainstream primary setting.
About the school & role
- Located in Hyde, Tameside, the school is a smaller, one-form-entry primary setting with approximately 220 pupils, including nursery provision.
- You’ll take responsibility for a Year 2 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum, supporting pupils as they develop their confidence and prepare for the transition into KS2.
- This is a full-time, ongoing position starting ASAP, offering the opportunity to become part of the school team and build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
The ideal candidate
- Holds QTS or is an ECT ready to take on their own class, with a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
- Is confident planning and delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour and adapting teaching to meet different learning abilities.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and approachable, with a genuine passion for primary education and the ability to create a positive classroom environment.
