About the role
Your new company
You will be joining an established building services and maintenance contractor delivering works across a range of commercial properties. Due to continued workload and growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Plumber / Gas Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis.
Your new role
As a Commercial Plumber / Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive plumbing and gas works across commercial properties.Your duties will include:
- Carrying out commercial plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Fault-finding and diagnosing plumbing and heating issues
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing gas appliances and systems
- Completing planned and reactive maintenance
- Working across a variety of commercial buildings
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Completing relevant paperwork and job reports
- Providing a professional service when working on client sites
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Previous experience working as a Plumber / Gas Engineer within commercial environments
- Current Gas Safe registration and relevant gas qualifications
- A recognised plumbing qualification, ideally NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
- Strong plumbing, heating, fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Good knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
