Repairs Service Administrator
Hourly rate: £14.59
Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Location: Crossgate House Redditch B98 7SN
This is an office-based role for a temporary 3 month contract, with opportunity for
extension.
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Redditch Borough Council for a Repairs Services Administrator to join the Housing Property Services department and provide administrative & customer service support by scheduling repairs for Council tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate repair service requests efficiently, ensuring timeline and communication with customers and technicians.
* Schedule appointments and allocate resources to meet project deadlines.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service activities, work orders, and customer interactions.
* Liaise with technicians and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and
updates.
What we're looking for:
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proven experience in an administrative role
*Proficiency with office software and scheduling tools
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
