work for this excellent precision CNC manufacturing business supporting Aerospace, Defence and Motorsport. You'll be joining a modern, clinical workshop with state-of-the-art machines and a quality-first culture.
What you'll be doing:
- Set tooling for CNC milling machines using tool setting sheets
- Build tools in holders (cutters, drills, insert tooling, etc.)
- Break down tooling promptly at job completion
- Keep the tool setting area clean, tidy and organised
- Maintain tool holders so they're clean and in good working order
- Self-manage workload to ensure tools reach machines on time
- Order tooling and consumables as required
- Maintain vices and other workshop equipment
What we're looking for:
- Background in CNC milling / mechanical / assembly
- Good understanding of cutters, drills, insert tools, etc.
- Excellent timekeeping and strong attention to detail
