Carpenter/Multi-Trade Operative Carpenter/Multi-Trade Operative – Woking, Surrey An established property maintenance and repairs operation is seeking an experienced Carpenter/Multi-Trade Operative to join its team in Woking. This is a permanent position offering a salary of £37,492 per annum, based on a 40-hour working week. The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota. As a Carpenter/Multi-Trade Operative, you will deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance and installation services across residential properties. You will need strong carpentry skills, a professional approach and the ability to work safely while keeping customers informed. Carpenter/Multi-Trade Operative Responsibilities Carry out carpentry, multi-trade repairs and maintenance across residential properties. Undertake door hanging, door lining, lock and latch installations, including mortice latch work. Complete kitchen installations, including fitting and mitring worktops. Carry out fabrication work, repairs and modifications to structures and frameworks. Support other trades in delivering a safe and professional maintenance service. Respond promptly to emergency repairs and participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota. Maintain accurate job records and provide photographic evidence where required. Follow health and safety procedures, including risk assessments, method statements and the correct use of PPE. Carpenter/Multi-Trade Operative Requirements NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry. At least three years’ relevant trade experience, ideally within residential maintenance. Around five years’ experience in kitchen installations, including first and second fix. Strong practical carpentry skills covering doors, linings, mortice latches and kitchens. A full UK driving licence. A reliable, customer-focused and professional approach.
