About the Role

• Safely unload refrigerated vehicles typically handling up to three deliveries per day ensuring goods are managed with care and efficiency.
• Operate palletised handling equipment such as pump trucks or perform trailer swaps depending on the shift schedule maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
• Drive a modern well-maintained fleetof Scania and Volvo vehicles all under 6 months old ensuring reliability and comfort on the road.
• Deliver goods to depots across the Southwest and Midlands adhering to planned schedules and route requirements.
• Provide outstanding customer service engaging professionally with clients both in person and over the phone to represent the company positively.
• Maintain clear and consistent communicationwith the transport team offering real-time updates to support smooth operations and manage customer expectations.
• Participate in regular training sessionsto stay current with operational procedures safety standards and industry best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident polite and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit flexible hardworking and self-motivated.
• Solid geographical knowledge.
