About the role
Our client a leading Global Hedge Fund are looking for a Commodities Product Controller to join their team in London;
- Oversee Finance & Accounting operations and processes for all EMEA and APAC business lines, including coordination of positions, risk, PNL and valuation between key stakeholders (Portfolio Managers, Business Head and COO team).
- Support growth initiatives of the Global Commodities business including expansion into new markets and products, acquisition of new businesses and onboarding of new complex structured transactions.
- Analyse Commodities’ daily PNL and PNL attribution and provide highlights to management, breaking down key drivers of PNL. Includes working with Commodities’ COO Team and Product Control to understand position and PNL drivers as well as the underlying systems utilized.
- Analyse complex structured transaction valuations under Day 1 accounting policy.
Experience Required
- Previous Product Control experience
- Commodities Product exposure is essential
- Qualified Accountant would be advantageous
