About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Shift Manager to support Greggs at their 69 The Upper Mall shop in Burnley.
In this leadership position, you will take charge of shop operations whenever the Shop Manager is away. You will engage, motivate, and direct the team while ensuring an exceptional experience for customers across all ordering channels—in-store, Click + Collect, delivery, and drive-thru.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Inspire and guide team members to deliver outstanding service and maintain high shop standards.
Customer Service: Lead by example on the shop floor by serving customers in a fast, friendly, and welcoming manner.
Food Preparation & Merchandising: Oversee sandwich preparation, manage oven operations, and keep food displays fully stocked and presentable.
Shop Maintenance: Ensure the shop remains clean, tidy, and compliant with operational standards.
Working Hours & Availability
Contract Hours: 25 hours per week (Permanent)
Shift Pattern: Full flexibility required across Monday to Sunday (exact working hours and days will be discussed during the interview).
What We Are Looking For
Previous team supervisory or shift management experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
Reliable individual with natural leadership capabilities and strong communication skills.
Passion for delivering excellent customer service and fostering an inclusive culture.
Full flexibility to work rotational shifts across Monday through Sunday.
