The Best Connection Group are seeking an experienced Class 2 (C) Driver to join our well-established client, a leading Yorkshire manufacturer based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25).
What We Offer:
· Earn up to £1,110 per week, including nights out
· Thursday to Sunday work
· Enhanced weekend pay: £18/hour Thursday and Friday, £20/hour Saturday, £22/hour Sunday
· Night out allowance: £25 for your first night, then £50 per night for nights 2 to 4
· Time & a third after 40 hours
· Thursday to Sunday work, with Monday to Wednesday off
· Weekly pay, plus holiday pay
· Full paid induction and training
· Free onsite parking and canteen
· Support from an experienced recruitment team
· Temp to perm: £50,000 per year plus benefits when you go permanent
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable Class 2 driver who enjoys life on the road and wants to earn a full week's pay in four days.
Responsibilities
· Driving Class 2 (C) HGV vehicles across the UK
· Delivering large, fully assembled furniture to customers' homes with your driver's mate
· Overnight stays in the cab, so bring bedding and toiletries
· Perform pre/post vehicle checks and report any problems
· Use a handheld scanner and complete proof of delivery
· Provide excellent customer service at every delivery
Requirements
· Valid Class 2 (C) licence
· Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
· Happy with heavy lifting as part of a two-person team
· Home delivery or multi-drop experience is a bonus, but not essential
