Salary up to £35k to 40k depending on experience

Our client, a leading manufacturer with a strong reputation for innovation and quality, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing engineering team based in Lisburn.

Key Responsibilities

·      Lead engineering activities associated with the introduction of new products into production.

·      Create and maintain technical documentation, engineering drawings, work instructions, bills of materials (BOMs), and costings.

·      Design and develop production jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing aids.

·      Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication and assembly operations.

·      Support production teams in improving quality, efficiency, and process capability.

·      Assist with the implementation and integration of new machinery and manufacturing technologies.

·      Support supplier selection, outsourcing projects, and subcontract manufacturing development.

·      Maintain technical documentation in line with relevant industry and quality standards.

·      Collaborate with design and R&D teams during product development projects.

·      Conduct product validation and testing to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.

Essential Criteria

·      Third-level qualification in an Engineering related discipline.

·      Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role

·      Experience carrying out Process FMEA studies and implementing resulting improvements.

·      Understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes, including plastics, aluminium, and steel.

·      Working knowledge of 3D CAD modelling software.

·      Experience using CAD/CAM software.
