About the role
We are currently recruiting for an Electro-Optic Test Operator to join our client on an initially temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent depending on performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Test, inspect and verify electro-optic assemblies and systems.
- Set up and operate specialist test equipment, including optical and electronic measurement tools.
- Follow work instructions, test procedures and engineering documentation.
- Record test results accurately and identify defects or test failures.
- Carry out visual inspections and assist with troubleshooting.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping.
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to support production targets and continuous improvement.
- Experience in electronics, optics or electro-mechanical testing is desirable.
- Familiarity with optical or electronic test equipment would be beneficial.
- Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office; SAP experience is advantageous.
- A technical qualification is desirable, but relevant practical experience will also be considered.
- Standard days: Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm - 37 hours per week
- Late shifts: 2pm to 10pm
- 4 on 4 off shifts
