Humanities Teacher – RE/History

We are working on behalf of a well–regarded secondary school to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Humanities teacher with a specialism in RE and History. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high–quality RE and History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging RE and History lessons that inspire and challenge studentsTeach across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting lessons to meet the needs of different abilitiesAssess, monitor, and report on student progressContribute to the wider Humanities department and school communityMaintain high standards of classroom management and student engagementEncourage students to develop their knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of key historical, religious and cultural topicsRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Specialism in RE, History or a related Humanities subjectProven experience teaching in a UK secondary school settingStrong subject knowledge across RE and/or HistoryExperience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4A passion for Humanities and a commitment to supporting student progressExcellent communication and organisational skillsAll candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check.
