Teaching Assistant – Specialist SEND & PRU Provision – Longsight, Manchester Full–Time Term Time Only 100 – 110 per day DOE Temporary to Permanent Opportunity The best Teaching Assistants do more than support learning. Simply Education is working with a specialist SEND school in Longsight to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school has a strong focus on understanding each learner as an individual and creating positive outcomes through relationship–based learning and personalised support. Staff work collaboratively to help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed. Supporting pupils who may have a range of additional needs, including SEND, communication difficulties, social, emotional and behavioural needs, this role would suit candidates who are passionate about helping young people succeed both academically and personally. We would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience working in PRU (Pupil Referral Unit), Alternative Provision, SEND schools, SEMH settings or specialist educational environments, where building positive relationships and supporting vulnerable learners is a key part of the role.
