Pupil Support AssistantForrester High SchoolHours: 27.5 per week 39 weeks sessionalSalary: £26,806-£27,032 (Pro rata for part time and sessional)We are looking for a Pupil Support Assistant to work 27.5 hours per week and 39 weeks per year.The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students and have a firm belief in the potential of all students.Forrester High School strives to ensure that all young people have access to tailored learning pathways that meet their needs. We will work closely to ensure our learners know how to progress their learning. This will enable them to gain the skills, experiences and qualifications they need to achieve a successful, positive and sustained destination on leaving school.The school is firmly committed to raising attainment and promoting achievement. This is a whole school priority in the improvement plan and reflects local CEC and national priorities.This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
