About the role
Primary School | Full‑Time | Immediate Opportunities Available
CER Education are seeking a dedicated and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join one of our nurturing and inclusive primary schools in Rotherham. This rewarding role is ideal for someone who can provide consistency, empathy, and skilled support to help children thrive-both academically and emotionally.

What We’re Looking For
- A calm, patient and emotionally intelligent approach to behaviour and relationship‑building
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience supporting at Early Years Stages
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to pupil wellbeing
Desirable Skills
- Experience using de‑escalation strategies or restorative approaches
- Familiarity with EHCPs and supporting children with SEND
- Training in Team Teach or similar positive handling methods
