About the role

This is an exciting time to join Tibshelf Community School as we make a significant investment in the continued development of our SEND provision. As part of our wider inclusion strategy, we are expanding our team through the recruitment of four new colleagues, strengthening our capacity to provide high-quality, personalised support and ensure that every young person has the opportunity to thrive.
We are incredibly proud of the reputation we have already established for providing exceptional support for pupils with special educational needs, and these new roles represent the next stage in that journey. We are looking for caring, committed and enthusiastic people who share our belief in truly inclusive education and who want to make a tangible difference to the lives, confidence and aspirations of our young people.
Whether you are already experienced in SEND or looking for an opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and ambitious team, this is a fantastic time to become part of the Tibshelf Community School community.
This role requires a passion for working with children who may find education more challenging. Can you demonstrate an understanding of their capabilities and have the ability to support, guide and inspire them to reach their individual goals?
The successful candidate will join a professional, diligent, efficient team and will be expected to provide specialised support to staff, pupils, parents and other stakeholders as and when required.
The post holder will have the skills and drive to support pupils’ learning, inspire and guide staff in how best to meet the needs of individuals and effectively lead a team of SEND support staff.
