Salary up to £28,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm
Southam Selections is recruiting an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join a growing accident management business. You’ll manage new non-fault motor claims, support customers throughout the claims process and ensure cases are handled efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle new motor claims and complete the First Notification of Loss (FNOL) process.
- Liaise with customers, insurers, brokers, repairers and other third parties.
- Gather evidence and carry out initial investigations and liability assessments.
- Manage customer expectations and provide regular updates.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs and replacement vehicle arrangements.
- Record claim details accurately and assist with recovering costs from insurers.
About You
- Experience in motor insurance or claims handling is preferred.
- Confident telephone manner with strong communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Positive, empathetic and customer-focused approach.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
