About the role
A growing Accountancy Practice is looking to appoint a
Client Manager
into their St Helens office. This is an excellent opportunity where you'll work closely with a broad portfolio of SME clients, managing relationships while producing high-quality accounts and tax work, with the opportunity to mentor junior staff and genuinely add value to clients. Whether you are
fully qualified, part-qualified or a strong QBE accountant , this role offers the chance to join a people-focused environment with long-term progression opportunities. Client Manager Responisbilities: Prepare year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships Produce corporation tax computations and returns for review by senior leadership Prepare deferred tax calculations and tax reconciliations Complete VAT returns and support clients with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements Prepare periodic management accounts and management information reporting Ensure statutory accounts and corporation tax returns are submitted within Companies House and HMRC deadlines Act as a key point of contact for client queries via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings Manage your own portfolio of clients with oversight from senior leadership Review work prepared by junior staff and support with training and development where required Client Manager Attributes: ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or
Qualified By Experience (QBE) Minimum
5 years' experience within accountancy practice
