This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position with competitive pay, Monday-to-Friday working hours and no weekends! This is a physical, hands-on role where you will work alongside a Driver's Mate to complete deliveries and collections safely and efficiently. You will be required to assist with loading and unloading goods, so a good level of fitness and a willingness to get stuck in are essential. Hours, Pay & Benefits for Class 2 Driver: £16.00 to £17.90 per hour Minimum 8 hours' pay Monday to Friday 6:00am starts, with finish times varying depending on the route Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term prospects Newly passed drivers are welcome No weekend work Weekly pay Employee Benefits Package Monthly voucher incentives Pension contributions Free parking Wellness & health package Healthcare support Key Responsibilities for Class 2 Driver: Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently Working alongside a Driver's Mate to complete daily deliveries Completing deliveries and collections across various routes Between 1 and 10 drops per day, depending on the type of goods Assisting with loading, unloading and manual handling Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time Following all relevant health and safety procedures Requirements for Class 2 Driver: Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 2 experience is desirable but not essential, as newly passed drivers will be considered Comfortable carrying out physical and manual work Reliable, punctual and hardworking Flexible with finish times depending on daily routes A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team If you're a newly qualified or experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a new opportunity in Swindon, with competitive pay, no weekend work and the chance to secure a permanent position, we want to hear from you!
